Our youth weekend culminated Sunday with Worship and a powerful message delivered by Terrance Lester. Terrance is a young man who attends Word of Faith Christian Center and has an awesome testimony.  He attempted suicide, was incarcerated, and convicted of two felonies all during his teenage years.  

Today at 26 years of age, married with a child, he shares his authentic message of breaking the cycle.

The essence of the message centers on the sins of the father affecting the children.  Lester reminds us that we have the power as God’s children to break the cycle. 

Brothers, we don’t have to be pimps and players, wife beaters, molesters, dead beat dads – or just plain trifling.  Just because our fathers may have done it; and their fathers may have done it, doesn’t mean we have to do it. 

Let’s allow the Word of God and the plight of our children cause us to make a change-- for the better.
