Can't We All Just Get Along?
Pastor Moss

Over the past several weeks we have witnessed the fury and frenzy of the leadership of the country in Washington, DC.  The commotion and calamity was caused by the call for a decision to be made about National Health Care.  It is amazing how articulate and educated people can behave in such a manner as to cause one to question how educated and articulate they really are.

Not only was it embarrassing to witness the antics as demonstrated by elected officials, but it is appalling to think that a consensus cannot be reached for the good of the people.  While there are valid issues on both sides, none of these issues should have caused the behavior that the entire country witnessed.  One thing is for sure—people need health care.  When will we get along to the degree that decisions can be made for the good of the people?  When we get along to the degree that civility and common courtesy become the order of the day?

We know for sure as the events of the past several weeks have demonstrated that racism is alive, ignorance is rampant, and community is all but a thing of the past.  I would submit to you that it is time for Kingdom people to institute a Kingdom principle and send a message that if Washington approves it--- fine; if not-- fine; the people of God will be provided for no matter what.
No need to worry, no need to fret; God is still in control.  And His Word is true.   “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14.)
