Each of us has a destiny.   The seed of success has been planted from the beginning and God’s original purpose for us is to be used according to HIS perfect will. What is the dream you’ve held inside? What goal have you set that you’re afraid to reach?  Are you handling your business?

In Acts 27:17-18 Paul is hearing from Jesus who tells him, “I will keep you safe from your own people and also from the others. I am sending you to them ¹⁸ to open their eyes so that they may turn away from darkness to the light, away from the power of Satan and to God...”  Note-- God told Paul he would protect him from his own people.

What a Word for us today!  When you’re handling your business you don’t allow those closest to you to discourage your or deter you from who God has called you to be. There will be attempts to remind you of who you used to be and what you used to do. But when you handle your business you’re able to walk in the newness of life- afforded to all who confess Christ.

Handling your business means that you are able to stand on God’s word, despite those forces that try and cause you to doubt God’s words.  In essence, you believe that weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.   You believe you can walk by faith and not by sight.  You believe that you are more than a conqueror; above only and not beneath; the head and not the tail; and that there is victory in Jesus!

 So handle your business and let the devil know that he is already defeated!
