Fourth of July.  Independence Day - a day celebrating freedom. 
The question is “Are we really free?” and if so, “free from what?”

At the present, many are bound with the burden of seemingly unending financial stress;  bound by worry as to whether or not they will still have a job on the 6th of July.

When do we get to the place wherein we receive the peace that surpasses all understanding?

In other words, I might be going through hell right now, but I’m still moving.  I’m still hoping.
I’m still believing in God and God’s Word. 

The answer lies deep within us and is revealed daily through our devotion to and walk with God.  The price has been paid by Jesus.  The choice is ours.  Make up in your mind whether you will be free or be bound.
