On Tuesday of this past week we witnessed the comeback performance of Whitney Houston on Good Morning America.  The title song of her new album, I Look to You, says it all. She was in a place of darkness and despair, destined for total destruction. 

But there were people around her who loved her; whom she looked to.  Those relationships helped Whitney look even higher and in my opinion served as the basis for her song.

Whitney looked to God, her source in the beginning and the one who sustains her now.  Despite all that she has experienced, despite her pain being put on public display, Whitney was able to live just one more day. 

Whitney says it was her faith that helped bring her through.  So let us learn from Whitney.  Regarless of whatever our situation or circumstance, we should be able to look to each other and ultimately to God.
