Michael Jackson's legacy

Pastor Moss

Today the world celebrated Michael Jackson.

Regardless of race, creed, color, or faith preference, we celebrated not only the person of Michael Jackson but the contribution that he made to God's kingdom here on earth. Even his haters were silenced today by the unified focus of those who loved him.

It is sad that it takes destruction and death to unify a world. If only we could unify ourselves without tragedy to silence the hate of the world.

As Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas), reminded us during today's nationally-televised memorial service, "If he (Michael Jackson) was burned, he built a burn unit.  If a hospital needed beds; he built those beds. If they needed money for developing countries, Michael gave.. Michael never stopped giving."

What an example of selflessness; of living by example.  What a legacy for all to remember.

God bless you Jackson family!

Peace & love,
Pastor M.
