Pastor MossPresident Barack Obama was recently honored with winning the Nobel Peace Prize—becoming only the third sitting U.S. president to do so.  In making the announcement, the Norwegian Nobel Committee praised President Obama’s cooperative approach to global issues.

Despite his efforts towards reconciling our differences with other nations, despite his many efforts to lay the groundwork to move this country forward, and restoring the confidence of the American people; despite his dedication and leadership in a government that is supposedly by the people, for the people and of the people, there are those who question the President’s suitability for such an honor.

The bad news is there are still those who refuse to accept the fact that this president is the one who has been anointed and appointed for such a time as this.  The good news is despite the haters he still received the honor.

President Obama has unfairly been expected to correct in just over eight months what it took eight years to create.  Despite this, he continues to press forward as if he is reciting to himself, “If God is for you who can be against you.”  What a lesson for us all!

God bless the President.

Peace & Love,

Pastor M
