| So What You Gonna Do? |

The meteorologists told us what was getting ready to happen but we just didn’t believe it. More than likely, etched in our memories were the times in the past that they told us it was coming and it never happened. Nevertheless, here we are-- paralyzed, shut down and just plain stranded. I was impressed with the young lady who was stranded at the Greyhound bus station in Atlanta. According to her accounts, there were no provisions for stranded passengers. Despite how distraught she was, she contacted the corporate headquarters of McDonalds in Chicago. They put her in contact with the McDonalds office in the southeastern region, and before long, McDonalds had provided food for the stranded passengers. I would submit to you that many have found themselves in a place where regardless of how angry they became they still weren’t going anywhere; neither did the situation change. Such is the case with life. There will always be situations that we are prepared for and those that we’re not prepared for. Regardless, life happens. So then, do you continue to allow tempers to flare, finger pointing and blaming to ensue, or do we just listen to the voice of God, saying “Peace, be still.” Hope you are enjoying your time off and are thanking God that it wasn’t worse.
