Thank You Lord!

Pastor MossAs we have just celebrated Thanksgiving, there were many who gathered around dining room or kitchen tables across the nation giving God thanks for a multitude of blessings.  While the list may have been varied, the fact remains that if it had not been for God’s goodness, grace and mercy, we would not have much to be thankful for.  True enough there are those who are ready for this year to be over.

They have endured challenge after challenge and suffered loss after loss.  Yet they still gathered to give God thanks.  As I spent time with my family, having recounted the health challenges and finance challenges that we have had to work through, we realize that we have so much to thank God for.  Psalm 34 helps us to remember that we do not have to wait till the fourth Thursday in November to give God thanks for being so good.  As the Psalm says, “I will bless the Lord at ALL times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.”

Peace and Love,

Pastor M
