There’s a Reason for Your Challenge
Pastor Moss
I was listening to Tom Joyner the other day and heard in the interview he was doing with Magic Johnson.

Johnson has started a new business venture that centers on an employment agency.  In the interview Johnson was saying how he was able to unlock opportunities for others because of who he is.  It occurred to me that once again this was an example of someone reaching back to help others out.  While I cannot remember the numbers Johnson cited, relative to how many employment expos his new company has already conducted, what struck me was that here is an individual who has been abundantly blessed and could sit at home knowing that he and his family would be secure for life.  Nevertheless he has embarked upon making a way for others to have an opportunity at making a comeback.

One thing is for sure, those who have had to deal with challenges and have survived them are more compassionate towards those who are facing them.  So I will say to you that the reason for your challenge is to learn that God will reward those who diligently seek Him. There is no guarantee that these individuals who use Johnson’s company will get a job; nevertheless he’s providing an opportunity for the hopeless to have hope.

So I say to you keep on keeping on; knowing that the reason for your challenge is to strengthen you in your faith , push you into prayer and help you understand how far you have come walking by faith and not by sight.

Peace & Love,

Pastor M
