This week gives us men a chance to self-reflect.  Brothers, it’s time for us to practice taking one day at a time. We need to get motivated to see joy in the next day.  We’ve all heard the song, “Every day is a day of Thanksgiving.. God’s been so good to me, every day he’s blessing me!” Yes, EVERY day should be a day for us to give thanks.

It’s also a time for us to search ourselves and ask the hard questions that might be inhibiting our spiritual development and a deeper sense of faithfulness.  It’s time to ask the hard questions that might be preventing us from making an important commitment; whether that commitment is family, self-improvement, or community.

Men, our role as fathers, brothers, uncles and role models is not one to take lightly. We must focus on God to direct our paths, to lead us and to help us set good examples.
