WHY DOES CASCADE BAPTIZE BABIES?- I was a member of church that dedicated or christened babies. Why does Cascade baptize them? In the United Methodist church, a person can request to be baptized or may be presented by sponsors. When a baby is sponsored, the sponsor promises and takes responsibility for the child’s Christian guidance and nurture.
