MISSION
The Sunday School Mission is to educate persons at every level in the Word of God to be effective witnesses and leaders in the church, home, community, and the world. Our purpose is based on Matthew 28:19 in which Jesus commissions us to make disciples of all people.
GOALS
- Teach the word of God to all persons at every age level.
- Sponsor programs to encourage and enhance leadership skills.
- Plan activities for fellowship and nurturing of the Sunday School body.
- Encourage persons to reach out to their friends, neighbors, and community with the Gospel to make disciples.
HOW WE SERVE CASCADE
- Ensuring that all teachers are grounded in the Word of God by participation in Bible Study Classes and teacher training workshops.
- Provide quarterly teacher’s training meeting.
- Planning programs such as Black History, Bible Bowl, Easter Program/Easter Egg Hunt, and Promotion Sunday.
- Encouraging all the Sunday School staff and children to spread the Good News of Jesus to all about Cascade United Methodist Sunday School.
