MISSION STATEMENT
To offer hope of vision to today’s family. Families are in trouble; they are being attacked from within and without. Our families need to have fun; they need nurture and instruction on marriage, parenting and family living
FAMILY MINISTRY GOALS
- Develop and strengthen faith and prayer in the home.
- Celebrate and support families in their faith journeys.
- Celebrate Christian Home Month
- Encourage other ministries to bond and work together particularly with programs and events that pertain to the family as a whole.
WHAT WE DO FOR OUR FAMILY!
- The Family Ministry Prayer Team prays for families in the congregation and in the community.
- Provide activities and devotional materials that help strengthen faith.
- Promote Family Month entitled “Families Called To Love.” Provide a daily calendar of activities, scriptures, classes, worship opportunities, times of prayer, structured time for families to talk and bond with each other. Have the families to sign a covenant.
- Sponsor the Annual Church Picnic.
