MISSION STATEMENT
To transform men of the church from membership status to discipleship and ultimately to apostleship--all for the Glory of God.
GOALS
- Fellowship with other believers through community outreach, service to youth programs and senior citizens.
- Strengthen alliances, collaborations and coalitions with other church groups.
- Promote participation in all activities of the church. (Example, ministries, choir, ushers, Bible study, and co-sponsorship of other events.
- Provide an environment to exchange information, share ideas, and network.
- Assist men in their ever-changing relationships, roles and responsibilities in their family setting, workplace, and society.
WHAT WE DO FOR OUR UNITED METHODIST MEN!
- United Methodist Men’s Monthly Fellowship Breakfast provides information, education and referrals available to community resources.
- Men’s Focus Week will be several days of activities for men to concentrate on fellowship, Bible study, health issues, youth programs, recreation and outreach.
- Annual Golf Tournament – “Fellowship On The Greens” – is a time for fellowship with families.
- Koats for Kids – United Methodist Men providing coats for needy youth and giving their time to help young people.
- Support and develop strategic relationships with the North Georgia Conference.
- Promote and establish joint ventures with both the Witness and other division ministries.
