MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Cascade United Methodist Church Wedding Ministry is to give faithful service and provide assistance to those couples requesting the use of the Sanctuary/Chapel/Fellowship Hall for their Christian marriage and reception.

GOALS
Our goals include providing guidance and support for members and non-members desiring the use of the church’s facilities for marriage ceremonies, vow renewals and receptions in an effort to ensure that the experience will be meaningful and memorable.

1. By ensuring that the established policies and procedures of the church are adhere to.
2. By assigning an adequate number of qualified ministry team members to be present at the rehearsal, wedding, and reception.
3. By ensuring that the rehearsal and wedding begin on time.

HOW WE SERVE CASCADE

  • We provide brides, grooms, their families, wedding coordinators and vendors with written policies that govern wedding ceremonies taking place at Cascade United Methodist Church.
  • We serve as a liaison between the church and the bride and groom and their wedding
  • coordinator.
  • We provide adequate staffing at the wedding rehearsal, wedding, and reception.
  • We will schedule a face-to-face meeting with the bride and groom and their wedding
  • coordinator to discuss and review the format for the ceremony to ensure that it is in
  • keeping with the dignity and sacredness of worship as we understand it at Cascade
  • United Methodist Church.
  • We will be present on day of wedding to serve as ambassadors for Cascade United
  • Methodist Church.
