SCOUT SUNDAY
Join Cascade’s Boy Scouts for Scout Sunday, February 14, 2010 at the 11:00 a.m. service. Scout Sunday recognizes the contributions of young people and adults and allows scouts to live out their "Duty to God." The newly re-organized Pack and Troop 579 will be accepting applications for new membership following the 11a.m. service. On February 13, the Cascade UMC Men's Division will join local area Boy Scouts in planting a tree on the Cascade campus to commemorate the 100 Year Anniversary of the Scouting Movement. The Saturday morning tree planting symbolizes the Men's division's commitment to help the new scouting program take root and blossom here at Cascade to deliver a new generation of church and community leadership that we all can be proud of.
