MISSION
The Mission Statement of the Computer Ministry is to help utilize technology in an effort to support the overall mission of the church and to offer opportunities to members to develop or enhance their computer literacy.
GOALS
- To assist Cascade become a church that can effectively and efficiently communicate internally
as well as externally to its members as well as the community through the internet. - To support all age groups at Cascade with technology skills, training, and resources that will allow them to function in a technology savvy world.
- To provide assistance to church administration in the utilization of technology to improve
business processes and work flow among its employees.
HOW WE SERVE CASCADE
- Help Cascade develop /install and maintain the technology (telephone and TI data lines) that will allow communication with Cascade church.
- Recruit higher qualified teachers to teach a technology curriculum.
- Provide computer/technological training.
- Assist Cascade with electronic document retrieval and archive.
- Assist Cascade with the infrastructure assessment for the technological layout of the future church.
- Develop church intranet to help facilitate better communication among internal staff as well as church ministries.
- Implement a technology workflow plan that models strategic plan.
