On Thursday, May 1, Cascade and thousands of churches from around the United States will have services and events specifically for the purpose of praying for our country. This annual event is called the National Day of Prayer (NDP).

Cascade's  NDP event will consist of 12 hours of continuous prayer and fasting in our Sanctuary from 8:00 a.m. until 8:59 p.m. We are asking individuals to take a minimum of one 30-minute time slot, come to the church and pray. The church is open to everyone who desires to pray for the USA and anything that affects its existence. You may invite your family, friends, neighbors and co-workers to join us in praying.

Everyone is asked to fast something during the 12 hours, i.e. certain types of food and beverages, TV, newspapers. Fast anything that will help you be more open to talking to God and hearing him when he speaks. Consider your medical concerns and consult your doctor before beginning a food fast.
A list of suggested items to pray for will be available. There will also be persons available to pray with you if you desire prayer.
