MISSION
To serve as intercessors for the congregation, ensuring that prayers are made for the needs of the church body, the community and the world.

VISION

1. To work with Christian Education Ministry and other ministries to assist them in implementing and achieving their goals.
2. To ensure that our church remains a house of prayer.
3. To ensure that all prayer requests received are prayed.
4. To ensure that prayers will be made prior to, during and at the completion of all major church events.
5. To ensure that daily intercessory prayer will be held.

HOW WE SERVE CASCADE

• Host or attend an annual Prayer Conference or prayer event.
• Lead prayer and devotion on Sunday mornings before the 7:00 a.m. worship service.
• Publish an informational brochure about the Prayer Ministry and other related topics such as prayer, fasting, being an intercessor, etc.
• Ensure that an intercessor attends all New Member Orientation classes to teach a short course on prayer and inform members of the prayer ministry.
• Ensure that courses on prayer are taught at the church by an intercessor at least twice a year.
• Publicize and invite members to join the mid-day prayer meeting to ensure that church related events and social issues are covered daily by assigned intercessors.
