MISSION
The Health & Wellness Ministry will provide health care promotion for the prevention of disease within our lifespans through workshops, health fairs, newsletters, homeless clinics, and collaborating with community services.

GUIDING SCRIPTURE
The Lord created medicines out of the earth, and the sensible will not despise them. Was not water made sweet with a tree in order that its power might be known? And he gave skill to human beings that he might be glorified in his marvelous works. By them the physician heals and takes away pain; the pharmacist makes a mixture from them. God’s works will never be finished; and from him health spreads over all the earth.” - Sirach 38:4-8

HOW WE SERVE CASCADE

• Clinic at the Homeless Shelter at Peachtree & Pine
• Monthly Blood Pressure Screening on the third Sunday of each month—following each church service
• Quarterly Blood Drive – co-sponsored with the Red Cross
• Annual Health Fairs – in partnership with South Fulton Medical Center
• Annual Health Walks
