MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is to work in conjunction with the mission of the Girl Scout Council of Northwest Georgia, Inc. to develop girls into strong, self-assured women through a dynamic program which emphasizes character, community service, leadership and respect for others.

GOALS

1. Assist in developing two key community service projects from ideas presented by Girl Scouts.
2. Implement scheduled classes for Girl Scouts to earn Religious Recognition Awards programs.
3. Re-establish troops for Daisy (kindergarten) and Older Girls (ages 11-17).
4. Increase parent/girl participation in Girl Scout program.
5. Maintain support of Girl Scout program and ideal through Family & Community Partnership Campaign.

WHAT WE DO FOR OUR GIRL SCOUTS!

• Recruit and train leaders for each Girl Scout troop.
• Recruit girls for each troop through registration at church and within the community.
• Promote national and council scouting activities through establishing open participation within the church. (Girl Scout Sunday, World Thinking Day).
• Coordinate and schedule Religious Recognitions Award programs with Children’s Ministry staff.
• Mentor the girls.
