The Board Of Trustees is responsible for all matters pertaining to the oversight, supervision, and care of all real property (real estate), and of all property and equipment owned or acquired by the Church. The Trustees are also charged with the acceptance or rejection of any and all conveyances, grants, gifts, donations, legacies, bequests and trusts for the benefit of the church. The nine-member Cascade Board of Trustees meets on the second Thursday of each month to ensure that the church, its properties and its personnel are properly cared for and protected against risks.

John Jackson

John T. Jackson, a "Grady Baby," received his elementary and high school education in the Atlanta Public School System. After graduating from Booker T. Washington in 1953, he completed a four-year tour of duty in the U. S. Air Force. Subsequently, John earned a BS degree in Science & Health at Tennessee A&I State University. He graduated from Tennessee A&I with honors, after only 3 1/2 years. Although he wanted to teach in Atlanta, Detroit offered a job to him first, and John spent the next 40 years working in the “Motor City” Public Schools. In the meanwhile, he earned a Masters Degree from Wayne State University.

In 1997, John returned to Atlanta along with his wife of 40 years, Rose Crawford Jackson. After "searching diligently" for a church home in Atlanta, John and Rose joined Cascade in November, 2002. Active in several ministries, John is currently serving as Chair of the Trustee Board.
